terms & Conditions

Before paying your deposit with us to secure your spot in our diary, we highly recommend that you take the time to read through the following Terms & Conditions. By paying the deposit and final invoice, you are agreeing to these terms and orders are provided on the basis that you, as the client have read, understood and accepted them. Harper & Finch accepts no liability if any of these Terms are not met and/or understood that results in delayed/missing/incomplete orders.

1. Quotes


1.1. Quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to change during the design process should your requirements change such as; quantities, additional design elements, belly bands, stickers, ribbon etc. Any changes will be communicated as and when.

1.2. The quote provided includes all costs including design fee, print costs and postage.


2. Payment


2.1. A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required before any design work begins. A link will be supplied to complete this payment.

2.2. An updated invoice will be sent via email once you have approved your designs for print - full payment will be requested before the designs can be sent to the printers.


3. Design & Artwork


3.1. All artwork is property of Harper & Finch, it may not be copied or reproduced in any way, even for personal use.

3.2. Under no circumstances are you able to use our artwork across any alternative stationery or websites which we have not created. If you wish to use it elsewhere, please ask us and we will provide you with a fee and terms of use.


4. Turnaround Time


4.1. Please allow 6-8 weeks for bespoke stationery design to be completed (from the day we receive your wording to the day the order is dispatched). We work our hardest to get your designs ready as fast as possible but turnaround times are not guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible for any delays due to late customer feedback and delays due to suppliers.

4.2. Please note that our working hours are 9am-5pm and emails are not expected to be replied too out of these hours. We will always try to get back to urgent emails out of hours but this is not guaranteed.


5. Rush Bespoke Orders


5.1. Any bespoke order with a deadline of less than 4 weeks will be classed as a rush order. All rush orders are subject to an extra 25% charge on top of your final amount. In the event of a rush order, we work night and day to ensure that your collection is ready but cannot be held responsible for any delays due to late client feedback and supplier delays.


6. Proofs & Amendments


6.1. Please ensure you proof read your details and spelling thoroughly before approving for print. We cannot be held responsible for any spelling mistakes discovered after final approval and a re-print fee will be charged if the items need to be sent off to print again.

6.2. 3 rounds of amendments are included with each bespoke order. A fee of £25 per round will be charged if any additional amendments are required after this.

6.3. The following changes can be included in your free rounds of amendments:

  • Minor layout tweaks e.g. text of illustration placement
  • Font sizes or spacing
  • Wording changes (e.g. spellings)
  • Text colour changes
  • Minor tweaks to illustrations

6.4. Please note that any additional artwork not included in the original brief will incur an additional fee, which will be priced based on the amount of word required.


7. Colour


7.1. Colour on screen will always look different to the printed version. If you have provided a colour swatch, every effort will be made to match it as closely as possible. Due to the printing process, colour variation can occur between different print runs and different printers. Therefore, colour may differ between your stationery and any samples or hard copy proofs that you receive.


8. Postage & Packing


8.1. All orders are delivered Monday - Friday unless weekend delivery has been paid for. Parcels are posted using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm for parcels under 2kg, or for larger parcels and international postage we use DPD.

8.2. If your parcel gets lost in the post, this is the responsibility of the postal system. We would be happy to re-print your stationery collection and post out at a re-print fee. 

8.3. If your parcel gets lost in the post and is delayed and misses your wedding date, we cannot provide you with a refund as this is the fault of the postal system. 

8.4. If you provide us with incorrect delivery information and your parcel misses your wedding date, we cannot provide you with a refund as this was the error of the recipient. 


9. Shipping to Europe


9.1. The fee stated in your quote includes postage, packing and shipping, but excludes delivery duty / export taxes which will need to be paid via the recipient once it reaches customs in your country.

9.2. Your parcel may exceed delivery time expectations due to unforeseen customs checks and delays.
